Позволяет вводить текст на русском языке при отсутствии русификации, то есть без
установки русского драйвера. Интерфейс программы английский. Хелп тоже. И эта страница - само-собой.

The RusEditor - text editor for those Palm-size PCs
which have no Cyrillic keyboard support (keyboard driver). The text editing
area contains the virtual keyboard with Russian alphabet. This keyboard can
be completely rolled-up or rolled-down at any moment for your convinience.

- - The Russian virtual keyboard does not substitute the original one, so you
may enter the text in both languages without switching the input language

- - Windows 1251, DOS and Unicode files recognized automaticaly. You may save file in any of those formats.
- - Resizable keyboard frame, just drag the splitter (could be completely collapsed)
While using the virtual keyboard the SHIFT key is working as CAPS, i.e.
"sticks" on press, and user should explicitely turn it off by pressing it second
time.
This software is not a NLS (national language support) driver and
doesn't install any special system components.
Program preferences
Russian keyboard layouts:
- Natural (alphabetical) layout - all letters in the alphabetical order (абвгд...)
- QWERTY (as on PC keyboard) layout - all letters as on PC keyboard (йцуке...)
Editor options:
Note: These changes will take place after restart of editor
- Keyboard at the top - place the virtual keyboard at the upper frame of the screen. By default the virtual keyboard is in the lower frame.
- Word wrap - puts the editor to the word wrap mode.
The cursor will automatically jump to next line when reaching the right edge
of the screen. When word wrap mode is off, the line will scroll instead, and
user should press Enter key to go to next line.
Note: These changes will take place immediately
- Font - select the font name for edit area. You may preview
the sample text appearance in small area below.
- Size - select the font size.
- Style - select the font style: B - bold, I - italic, U - underlined, S - striked out

16.01.03. v1.1 - added autosupport for files in different encodings (Win1251, DOS, Windows).
Changed the way of Unicode support - now it reads and writes files as WindowsXP notepad does.
Implemented the Find and Replace functions. Fixed some bugs. Slight changes in the interface.
